CEIPES is happy and enthusiastic to announce the end of the Italian pilot of IoToAI project at the IISS “Pio La Torre” in Palermo. More than 40 participants with SSH and ICT background tested the modules developed by the consortium of the project.

IoToAI – Internet of Things to Artificial Intelligence is a project that involves partners from different European countries: Northern Ireland, Italy and Spain. It is funded by the European Commission under the Erasmus+ programme, Key Action 2 (Strategic Partnership for Innovation and Exchange of good practices).

The aim of IoToAI project is to develop a specific and innovative training for modernising workers’ and students’ profiles. Industry will also take advantage from the project results, since technicians will have the chance to apply the knowledge acquired during the training course within their factories or sectors, as they can be part of ICT departments in charge. At the same time, young employees with a completely different professional background and high IT affinity are coming forward.

CEIPES project managers had the opportunity to test the modules developed by the IoToAI project consortium. Thanks to the e-learning platform all the students had the opportunity to enrol into the free platform to follow the learning path created and based on their needs. The course is made of different topics and modules such as: internet of things, cloud computing, blockchain, Artificial intelligence and so on…

Thanks to the analysis of the quizzes data, CEIPES project managers collected the level of the knowledge acquired by the students.

The course participants showed a great interest in the newly acquired skills and many of them are sure that now they ar5e more aware about these topics. Other participants think they will use these new skills in the future. Furthermore, the participants expressed a great interest in the modules of the course because these modules will be a big help for those who want to start working in different fields, especially for those with a vocational education training path.

At the end of the last day of pilot CEIPES project managers has delivered the attendance certificate for all the participants.
